Hi friends ,
JEEs approaching and most of you would like to know what to do in the final days. Well my most important advice would be to do what you feel like. By this i mean, if you feel like revising old syllabus , do it or else if you want to just chill out and relax , that's equally acceptable. Every JEE aspirant is well aware of the level of competition today . So i would like you all to keep that in mind and work accordingly.
- I personally used the last 10-15 days to revise the old syllabus. I had prepared a time table for myself in which i had decided i would try to cover up some parts of the syllabus everyday such that i would have revised the entire syllabus 2-3 times before JEE.
- I also dug up all my old mock question papers and solved them. Focus more on problem solving rather than the actual theory. My advice to serious aspirants would be to study smart but don't waste too much of your brain cells as you need them for the exam day.Studying smart means solving say 4 problems of level 8 difficulty rather than 8 of level 4 .
- Also try doing the papers according to the actual JEE timings (time and duration) . This would help you to be at your peak at that time. I strongly advice against late nights at this time if you want to try this. So start sleeping early.
- Also you can get question banks of old IIT-JEE problems and other related ones. Try getting the mock question banks of a reputed institute to ensure good quality of questions. Please avoid Brilliant's YG File. I personally found it too easy. FIITJEE's AITS papers are much better.
Ofcourse i understand that every person is different so please take these as suggestions and not compulsions . They worked for me but might not work for someone else.
I would like to end by sharing what my physics teacher told us.I found it extremely motivating and i hope you guys take it in the right spirit.
"Till the day of JEE think that there is no life beyond IIT. If you dont crack JEE , your finished, dead.
But at the day of the exam remember there is a life beyond IIT and there are more successful non IITians than IITians. "
Questions/queries/comments/&*%$#@ all welcome.
Cheers and All the Best !!.
